Sara, thank you for this letter. My shoes are different, and I have walked a different path, but I understood exactly what you described. And I think that’s the point of it all. I’m so glad you had this hike at this time and I have loved following you along ❤️
This was incredibly moving — thank you for writing it. You have an uncanny ability to find the right words on the screen and connections out in the world.
Was never one for bumper stickers. Though i do like to randomly chat with new people. we look for an opening and how it is received and if answered to an invite to carry on and get a glimpse of who you and or I, are. Good story of us humans being interested in real life. The inside thoughts of our minds. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful, Sara. I think that hike was a gift for you in this moment, a different and surely healthier way to process ❤️
Thank you! I think you're right. It was a hard gift to open at times, but a gift nonetheless and one I'll carry with me always. x
This was such a lovely read and meditation. Also...I loved Spuds when I was a kid!
Thank you so much! And right? Who didn't love Spuds?!

Thanks for reading and “getting it,” Dad! Apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Except for the bumper stickers. 😉
