Mangez Bien: Paris Restaurants, Summer '23
Nine newish spots for tucking into more than croissants and steak frites in the City of Light
First of all, bonjour and bienvenue to those of you new here! Today’s letter is atypical, as it’s a Tuesday and therefore the content is for paid members only. But! Stick with me, and there will be lots more in the weeks to come. :)
So! Food! Paris! Big surprise: I’ve tasted a lot of it since The Infatuation published my First-Timers and Where to Eat Right Now guides back in the spring. While both lists remain relevant, for those of you who want to know about the new-new or the hot-right-now-NOW, I’ve got you. With the exception of Candide, which for some reason I only just made it to for dinner, most of the spots below opened within the last few months. Some invited me as a guest; some I went to on my dime. Regardless, I would never write about a restaurant that didn’t meet my (admittedly high) standards when it comes to taste, service, atmosphere, and value. With that, here’s where I ate recently that you may want to put on your radar.
